  1.       XTreme Racing 'Step On' track Read Me file.

  4. Thank you for your decision to download, copy or otherwise procure 
  5. the XTreme Racing Step On track.  This track is the first that the '25 Hr. 
  6. Party People' (that's Louis Harber and I, to more sensible folk) have 
  7. designed.  It has some interesting and original features, including road-
  8. works and the patented '25 HPP super-jump'.  Some of these features 
  9. might frighten the unsuspecting driver, we heartily recommend taking it 
  10. easy on your first go, follow the computer cars - they've had more prac-
  11. tice at it?
  12.  
  13. TRACK TYPE:    Race
  14.  
  15. TILE SET:      Island / CU / Custom
  16.  
  17. NEW OBJECTS:   Hedgehog, Rabbit, XL Tree, Barrier
  18.  
  19. FEATURES:      Roadworks, '25 HPP super-jump'.
  20.  
  21. DIFFICULTY:    Tougher than the proverbial nail.

  23. CREATION TIME: 3 days (it is our first one and we don't like reading 
  24.                instructions)

  32. INSTRUCTIONS (for the inexperienced, unintuitive, or scared):

  34. Having extracted the StepOn.lha to RAM (I hope).  Copy all of the .obj 
  35. extension files from RAM:objects to your XTR/Objects drawer i.e. type:
  36.  
  37. copy all from Ram:objects to Work:Games/XTR/Objects
  38.  
  39. at a shell prompt (replacing 'work:games/XTR' with the path of your 
  40. XTR drawer).  Repeat this procedure to copy all tile files to 
  41. your XTR/Tiles drawer (you may already have the CU files, 
  42. in which case don't bother copying them).  Then copy the 'Step_On.trk' 
  43. file from RAM:tracks to your XTR/tracks directory.
  44.  
  45. Run XTReme Racing select the Step On track and prepare for the 
  46. race of your. . . well just prepare to race.

  65.                 spending  so many million dollars, 
  66. Terry Pratchett - for confirming that the presence of a beard can be 
  67.                   used as an indicator that somebody is selling you old hat, 
  68. Terry Waite - for waiting so long, 
  69. Terry Venables - for the cash back-handers -whoops, 
  70. Terry Terry Terry Terry - for having so many Rs in his name, 
  71. Terminator X - for sounding so scary, 
  72. Chuck D - for his honourable service to American culture, 
  73. Mike D - for his witty observations on life, 
  74. Gina G - not really but I wouldn't say no to one of her female backing 
  75.          dancers,
